Currently the Director of Instruction at Swing Blade Enterprises in North Carolina, Karen is also managing editor of Golf Fitness Magazine and has been named to the Top 50 Female Instructor list by Golf Digest magazine.
Karen has appeared numerous times as a guest instructor on Golf Channel programming and has conducted clinics with Hall of Fame golfers Gary Player, Nick Faldo and Ernie Els. She has worked with LPGA Tour players, and she also developed Cardiogolf, a golf specific exercise program.
I have always believed that golf is a game that anyone can learn and enjoy. I feel my job as a teacher is not only to give out the best information I can give, but to also motivate and inspire people to have fun and improve. Although I have taught with three different golf schools and dozens of well-known teachers that employ method teaching (David Leadbetter Golf Academy, The Faldo Institute by Marriott and the Jim McLean Golf School), I do not adhere to one method of teaching the game of golf.
“I ventured out and asked Karen to help me with my golf swing. She agreed and told me to take a video of my swing and send it to her. I did that video and my golf life changed forever! Along with using the Cardiogolf program and exercises, she sent me a video from her and told me what was going wrong with my swing. She also told me what I was doing right with my swing! That is Karen!! She is the finest golf instructor I ever found and I have a library of suggestions. I learned so much and I can't thank her enough for her gift to me, golf instructions I can have any time of day or night I want to hear them. I never have to remember what she said because all I have to do is play the dvd and hear it anytime I want. Thank you Karen, your long time video student for two years! It works! ”
“Karen Palacios-Jansen is not just another instructor. She’s a “difference-maker.” In years of enthusiastic instruction, she’s made people feel comfortable with the process of improving. Most importantly, she’s unlocked the secret to training the body and the mind to go along with the fundamentals of the game.”
“Karen's teaching is clear and very informative. I have golfed for years, yet I learned more about the golf swing from her video lesson than ever have before. ”
