Jonathan serves as the PGA Director of Instruction at Sportz Skillz Golf and Tennis Center, a 7,500 square foot indoor performance center in Colorado Springs. When not teaching at Sportz Skillz, he is teaching at the Eisenhower Golf Course, located at the US Air Force Academy, and at Great Moves Physical Therapy located in Southern Colorado Springs.
Jonathan has been featured in the Colorado Springs Gazette, the Colorado Springs Business Journal, and local radio stations. Jonathan’s commitment to the game is evident by his involvement in the PGA Golf Management Program at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, the US Air Force Falcon Golf Camp and the hours spent on the lesson tee with juniors, women and amateur players alike.
Throughout his career, Jonathan has found that the most efficient way to improve your golf game is to build an efficient and repeatable golf swing. He does this by working from the ground up and bases your program on what you can physically do!
“I have had the pleasure of knowing Jonathan for the past two years as my 10-year-old son Josh takes weekly golf lessons with him. Jonathan is a very passionate individual that truly has a love for the game, but more importantly a love to help others succeed not only on the golf course, but in life. Jonathan and I both noticed physical weaknesses with Josh and he designed and carried out a fitness program for my son to get him up to speed so once enrolled in middle school gym class he would not be the last one picked for group sports. Months later Josh was throwing 25-yard football passes, playing tennis, and running faster than Mom! Furthermore, just last week my phone rings and Jonathan was on the other end wishing me a Happy Birthday and asking what surprises the kids and husband have planned for me. What other professional regardless of industry truly cares that much about a client and his or her family.”
“Jonathan Dron provided lessons to me and my son. He's a great instructor, exercising patience and professionalism. My son and I had little experience in the game and Jonathan was able to explain things to us in a manner that made sense. When we were unclear on an initial instruction he would continue explaining to insure we understood.”
