Jim believes with the right information applied correctly, new clients should get better immediately! He wants his students to understand the root causes of why they swing the club a certain way and also how their bodies influence that. Jim uses Trackman and AMM 3-D analysis to teach clients exactly WHY they hit shots a certain way and what needs to be corrected to produce the ball flight they desire. Jim and his staff at Golf in the Now take a “total game approach” to coaching their clients, with the goal always being to shoot lower scores and to enjoy the process and journey that comes with a lifetime of playing the game.
“Jim has really helped me with my teaching and my golf game. We met at the Tennessee PGA 2010 spring meeting where he was speaking, and I was much impressed with Jim's golf fitness and golf instruction knowledge. I have since spent a few days with Jim and he has helped me elevate my teaching and playing knowledge. As good a teacher as Jim is, he also is very humble and kind in his golf lessons. I have worked for or attended seminars with the best golf instructors in the game and I would put Jim right up there with any of them. If you are serious about playing great golf then I heartily recommend that you schedule an appointment with Jim Williams. - Des Mahoney; PGA Teacher of the Year Tennessee 2005, PGA Teacher of the Year Hawaii 1995.”
“Jim got to the root of a life-long swing issue that no one else could figure out, and I’ve seen some of the best teachers in the world. He has a great technical eye for the golf swing and his unique combination of swing and golf fitness analysis fixed my ball flight issue and improved my ball striking beyond what I thought it could be. He also nailed a putting issue rooted in my vision that I had never figured out either. – Eric Lee, plus-4 hdcp and 3-time club champion, Old Natchez CC, Nashville, TN ”
