    New driver,

Anyone here playing one of the new Taylormade Rocketballz drivers? I have a buddy in my weekend group that just got one and he was knocking it 20 yards by me all day this weekend and we used to be about the same off the tee. I don't know if he just had a really good day or the club is that much longer so I thought I'd ask. But I can't live with this!

A couple of guys that I play with have the new TM drivers and love them. I haven't hit one yet and haven't seen yardage gains that significant from the guys I know, but they are happy with their new drivers. I will say that our group has a ton of guys playing the RB 3-woods and they appear to be really long!

My son hit the new Taylormade RBZ driver on Saturday and he was easily 15 to 20 yards longer off the tee. I guess there is some truth about the 17 yards campaign.

I finally got out to the store and hit one this week. It felt pretty solid and if the simulator numbers were accurate I hit it about 10 yards longer than my Callaway. I hate not being able to see the ball flight though, so I might have to find a demo to try on the course before pulling the trigger. Because if I get it and don't like it, the wife won't be happy!

I've heard most of the machine test show the RBZ the longest out of the current drivers. I went out to two demo days two Saturdays in a row. At first I was eager to get to the RBZ, but I really didn't like the feeling. I hit TM, Nike, Adams, Ping and liked the Nike VRs overall (which surprised me) then before leaving I decided to give Cobra a try, to whom I've never given much thought. I feel in love with the AMP. I know it's orange and loud. But it was long, comfortable, and forgiving. I could feel mi****s that where still going straight, yet allowed me to shape shots when I wanted. I was really surprised by that. Same results the next Saturday. I used to think my woods would be Taylor Made forever, however I just bought a Cobra visor if you know what I mean .

I hit the RBZ at a demo last weekend.,it was okay. May get a lot of roll out on the course, hard to tell on the range. Best driver by far i hit was the Ping G20.

One of the guys in my weekend group ust got the G20 with a project x shaft in it and he loves it. He hits it dead straight and the ball flight is really good - mid launch with no spin.
