So, the weekend is fast approaching ...

what are you going to work on when it comes to your game this weekend?

Personally, I just put a belly putter in play last weekend so I'm looking forward to seeing if I can find a little more consistency with it this weekend. But I had to do something dramatically different - it gets old missing the hole from 3 feet a couple of time each round!

    How about everyone else?

For me it's getting my left hip cleared through the shot a little faster and building up more leg drive in my swing.

I can tell you all from experience that cwallace speaks the truth about his putting. It's not safe for children to see!

I'm working on trying to shorten by backswing. My swing's not like John Daly but it's long and I think by shortening it I can be more consistent. I'll get to hit balls on Saturday and play on Sunday and my goal for this weekend is to hit all of my irons like 3/4 shots.

Belly Putter... I've used the mid belly putter for almost three years.. and knowing how to use it, and the position of the hands make all the difference in the world.

Anthony Kims ideas on back swing is really simple and easy to use... The KISS method "keep it simple stupid" make all the differnce in the world.. Too many golfer over-think everything, and as a result never experience any success...

My game from inside 50 yards is pathetic right now. I'm playing tomorrow morning in my regular group and my goal is to be much more precise with my short pitches and chips. Worked on it a little last night in the back yard just trying to get my feel for distance correct. Tired of having a short chip or pitch and feeling like I have no feel for how long of a swing I should take.

Well, the old belly putter was feast or famine this weekend! Made some good ones, missed some easy ones. I guess that's golf ... and there's always next weekend!

My short game was quite a bit improved (at least by my standards) this weekend. I got up and down 5 times in 9 tries around the green and had a couple of others where I missed putts inside 5 feet, so my chipping was as good as it's been in a while. Got to sustain it now
