Question about a Masters past

I see a highlight sometimes of Nick Faldo making a long putt to win the Masters but it happened on Hole 11. I don't know what year it was, but I assume that Masters went to a playoff if it ended on hole 11?? Who else was in the playoff and what happened?

I'm pretty sure that was 1989 and Faldo beat Scott Hoch on the second playoff hole with that long putt on No. 11. That was the year that Hoch missed about a 2 footer or so on the first playoff hole to win, something that people were talking about last weekend when I.K. Kim missed a kick-in that cost her the Kraft Nabisco.

Poor Scott Hoch. One of the classic tragic endings of a major tournament. I think it ranks up there with Van de Velde.
