We started our new ‘Workout Wednesday’ series last week, as we take you through some of the fitness issues that play a role in the most common swing flaws that we see from SwingFix users.
In this week’s edition, we break down arguably the most common swing fault among average and high-handicap players, and that’s coming over the top.
In this video, SwingFix instructors and fitness experts Jim Williams and Karen Palacios-Jansen explain what causes an over-the-top move, what kind of physical limitations might be adding to the problem, and they offer up some exercises that will help cure the problem.
If you’re coming over the top, your ball-striking is always likely to be inconsistent at best, so enjoy this video and work on the fitness aspects discussed by Jim and Karen.
If you do, your game will benefit for sure.
