The Offseason: A better position at impact

Our Offseason series made its debut at the beginning of 2012 and ever since we’ve been showing you ways that you can keep improving your golf game even when the weather where you live isn’t cooperating.

We started our series by focusing on the fitness side of things and have now moved to the actual golf swing.

Today, we take a look at what’s the real moment of truth in the golf swing, and that’s how you deliver the club to the ball at impact.

In this video segment, Jim Williams shows you what constitutes a good position at impact and he has some drills that you can work on in the comfort of your own home to feel what it’s like to be where you need to be at impact.

Enjoy this video and work on the drills provided. If you do, more powerful shots, consistently solid contact and a better ball flight will be in your future when spring arrives.
