Tasty thoughts to improve impact position

Making a good swing requires you to stay "connected" to the clubhead.

This means that you can't "throw" the clubhead at the ball, getting all loose and flippy with your wrists. If you do, contact will be compromised, and all sorts of bad things can happen.

In this swing tip video, Martin Hall, Director of Instruction at Ibis Golf Academy, shares two tasty swing thoughts to keep you from flipping the clubhead: prime rib and pizza.

Prime rib refers to keeping the butt-end of the club pointing at your left ribs (for a righty) as you come through the ball, just past impact. Pizza refers to maintaining the angle of the butt-end and your right (or low) arm, such that the space between the grip (or an extended grip – just watch the video) looks like a slice of pizza would fit in it.

Great tips, but now I'm hungry…
