Finding your swing's rhythm and tempo
By SwingFix.com staff
This range drill comes from Brad Brewer, Director of Instruction at the Brad Brewer Golf Academy at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando.
Brewer shares his “Perpetual Motion three-ball range drill,” a rapid-fire, three-ball sequence that is all about emphasizing rhythm with a continually fluid swing. Minutes go by between shots on the golf course, but here, Brewer says that by keeping your swing going for three straight shots, you’ll be able to find your swing’s rhythm.
“It’s one of my junior golfers’ favorite drills,” said Brewer. “Not only will you hit it better, you might get a little sweat going. It's a good workout.”
Of course, this drill is much more useful if you’re not paying by-the-ball at your home range.
