Developing a solid, reliable grip is a must
By SwingFix.com staff
One of the biggest detriments to a solid golf game is a poor grip, and many golfers never give their grip the attention it deserves.
It’s also a difficult endeavor to make grip changes once you get comfortable with the way you place your hands on the club, regardless of the mistake you’re making, be it a grip that’s too strong, too weak or a case where your hands simply don’t match up very well.
But now that we’re in the offseason for many golfers, it’s the perfect time to take a look at whether or not your grip is sound. And if it’s not, it’s the perfect time of year to start making some changes that you can incorporate before spring arrives.
In this video segment, SwingFix.com instructor Chuck Mayhew breaks down the grip and shows you how you can grip the club properly and play better golf.
